Smiling above is Emily’s youngest sister Hannah, (now an Auntie) holding the newest addition to the Tiel clan. Adelaide is the first grandchild for Emily’s parents, and was born on June 7th to Josh and Natashia Tiel. Emily is on a non-vacation in Canada this month, serving remotely with Rio Grande and soaking in some family time as she helps with Hannah’s wedding preparations.
-Praise Items-
· We have found a local church on the island that we see we can be a part of.
· We love praying for people, and have had the blessing of students requesting us to do that especially during midterms.
· All of the ministry teams and individual students from RGBM who have been using their summer to serve the Lord.
· Emily made it safely to Canada!
· We are thankful for God and His word that refreshes us and sustains us.
· Nathan’s exams went well.
· All the celebrations that Emily gets to be a part of! Already this month she was present to celebrate her sister Michelle’s birthday, join in for Hannah’s bridal shower, and enjoy some Auntie time.
· We found out on July 21st that Emily has been accepted into the Master of Arts of Biblical Counselling program with Dallas Theological Seminary! Her online portion of her studies begins this fall.
-Items for Prayer-
· For us as we spend this time apart. We are so thankful that Emily gets to enjoy the gift of spending time with her side of the family but we do miss each other a lot. Please also pray for smooth travels for Emily as she flies back to the Caribbean soon.
· For the students and staff of RGBM as everyone prepares for the coming semester.
· Deeper times in the Word.
· Emily in her responsibilities for her department. Please pray for wisdom for her and her
bosses.
· Nathan is continuing to study hard and rely on the Lord for wisdom to know how to best prioritize his days.
· Wisdom for both of us as Emily begins her master’s degree. We are so thankful for this opportunity and covet your prayers as we adjust to this new part of our schedule.
· For our future as we re-tool to be more effective in our service to the King of Kings.
· That God would use us mightily for His glory.
